Acid Reflux Symptoms

What is causing my Burning In Throat

Should you consistently experience burning in throat, you may possibly be suffering with heartburn, also known as acid reflux disease. A rather more serious form of this disorder is known as gastroesophageal reflux disease, or GERD. Heartburn along with GERD are usually two of the principle reasons for burning in throat.

Heartburn, Acid Reflux, Ulcers And Hiatus Hernia…

‘The effect of gastric acid … on the lining of the esophagus is like taking a bath with water that is full of car batteries. “Michael. D. D. Gershon, MD, The Second Brain, 1999. Gershon, MD, The Second Brain, 1999.

There are many names to describe our stomach discomfort and its symptoms are very similar: heartburn or chest, indigestion, heartburn, acid reflux, gatritis, ulcer, hiatal hernia …
All of these names and some more from a common malady: food that does not sit well with us that makes the digestive system is forced and does not know where to start with such lopsided food.
Consider the effects of the acidity that is usually because they have low levels of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, although it can be for the opposite (high acid levels):

- Belching and flatulence.
- Gases and smelly fart.
- Broken capillaries on cheeks and nose and acne.
- Metallic taste.
- Burning in the chest (heartburn) or pain in the upper chest.
- Fatigue.
- Impaired intestinal flora.
- Intestinal parasites, candidiasis.
- Nausea after eating or taking any supplement.
- Itching in the anus.
- Anemia
- Staying very sated and heavy after meals.
- Intolerance to certain foods.
- Remains of food in the stool.
- Nails weak, broken and cracked.

Here we see the sphincter does not close and allows the acid up into the trachea creating acidity.  Hydrochloric acid tends to decrease as we age.  But there are people who often have the opposite, ie a high acidity especially after meals with acid regurgitation and this is called gastro-esophageal reflux, esophagitis (inflammation of the esophagus) or simply burning.
Acid reflux occurs when the inner esophageal sphincter does not close properly and causes the acidic stomach contents back into the trachea.. The sphincter normally always closed except when you have to swallow.

Those most prone to acid reflux during pregnancy, obesity, smoking, babies (as the sphincter is not yet developed and, therefore, in its first months of life tend to spit up their digestive systems mature) and with hiatal hernia.

The Acid Reflux Symptoms Are Clear:

- Burning in the chest.
- Bitter taste as hydrochloric acid runs counter to the pharynx (throat).
- Belching, food repeats.
- Hoarse voice as the acid can irritate the larynx and it costs us breathe.

Peptic ulcer is a sore that occurs when gastric juices ‘eat’ a point in the lining of the digestive tract.. Thus, we gastric ulcer (affecting the whole stomach lining), duodenal ulcer and esophageal ulcer.

The stomach lining is destroyed slowly running the risk of internal bleeding, vomiting blood, blood in the stool, perforation or stomach cancer. The excessive production of gastric acid is the erosin the stomach lining.

A bacterium that causes ulcers all the Helicobacter pylori, which is installed between the wall and the intestinal mucosa and causes more acid podruzcamos.. The bacterium H. pylori is a very intelligent and is hidden (hiding) to avoid being attacked or destroyed by the hydrochloric acid as with other bacteria that reach the stomach.

It has been shown that bacteria can be caught in youth by eating a poor diet or  contact with a contract carrier.. The infection is present in saliva and feces. And this bug can be installed on your body forever.

There are cases that once  spread is not usually develop an ulcer and symptoms may occur when our defenses are low and in other cases the effects appear rapidly and can lead to gastritis and later in stomach cancer.

H.pylori group rioted at home in our stomach and destroying our health.

People infected with H. pylori can secrete six times more acidic than normal but have also been cases of this bacterium inhibits the production of stomach acid. It is very important to care for our personal hygiene washing your hands after handling or touching pets and brush your teeth twice a day and that dental plaque bacteria can store this and then go to the stomach.
I think today we all know that aspirin and all medications taken with Aspirin can cause an ulcer as well as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.

Consider the symptoms are very similar to other stomach upset:

- Burning.
- Diarrhoea.
- Pain when eating (stomach ulcer).
- Searing Pain.
- Pain at night.
- Pain in the shoulder blades.
- Pain that occurs between two and four hours after eating (duodenal ulcer).
- Nausea.
- Vomiting.
- Regurgitated of something dark.
- Stool black.
- Fatigue, white skin, dizziness or weakness.
Here salicylates recommend free feeding, that is, free of citrus, apricots, dates, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, tomatoes, currants, raisins, figs, vinegar, caffeine, sausages and pickled. Anyway I explain later advice nutrition.

Acid Reflux Medications – Antacids such as aluminum hydroxide, magnesium salts, calcium carbonate often recommend our ‘experts in white coats’ are alkaline substances that neutralize the acid but eventually bring side effects such as flatulence, diarrhea (containing antacids magnesium) or constipation (which contain aluminum). also often prescribed for stomach protectors also contain aluminum hydroxide.
Histamine stimulates the release of gastric acids, therefore, and to make matters worse, also prescribe antihistamines such as cimetidine and ranitidine to block its action but produce side effects such as headaches, dizziness, dry mouth, rashes, constipation, diarrhea and fatigue, and decrease the absorption of nutrients and are not recommended to combine with asthma medicines or blood thinners.

Then we also take omeprazole, lansoprazole and pantoprazole to completely stop acid secretion but we believe nausea, constipation, diarrhea, headache, dizziness and proteins are not digested as not absorb other nutrients (malnutrition).

If we confirm that we have in our bodies Helicobacter pylori probably already been prescribed antibiotics, so we have a whole arsenal.  But we know that these drugs are masking the symptoms of acid reflux disease because they do not go to the root, ie we do not cure the condition and we also cause other unpleasant side effects.

And we will be prone to more infections, relapses and we will have to take them again.  It’s a vicious cycle that never ends.

They can also hide any new symptoms of other diseases.  ‘In the world of doctor-knows-what-all, patients are a nuisance or a fool who, though living every day in their bodies, they have no worthwhile opinion about their own ailments.. This disease is called ‘closed mind syndrome “and its most prominent symptom is arrogance.” K. Marsden, 2003. Marsden, 2003.

So the best thing would be to make a major change in our food supply, knowing what harm us and what we enjoy:

The milk was remedy for ulcers. Take nothing calm but when the milk reaches the stomach stimulates the release of more acid and is like pouring gallons of hot liquid on an open wound, causing more pain and aggravating the ulcer.
-   Formerly one of the antacids were prescribed was the milk (the doctors have taken many years prescribed for stomach ulcer and esophageal sores). We now know that cow’s milk  does increase the production of stomach acid ..

So, among other reasons, it would be ideal to completely eliminate cow’s milk and its derivatives. And to think that a few decades ago advised us to drink milk at meals … I still do not know how I’m still here …
- Avoid citrus fruits (lemons, oranges, tangerines, grapefruit, plums and rhubarb.

- The most problematic of all is the orange juice. It is also important to let the vinegar (be careful with the apple cider vinegar, also produces acid), prepared dressings and anything that contains citric acid or E330 that is what I usually put in tags.

- The tomato packaging also induces increased production of acid.. And please, beware naturopaths recommending olive oil with lemon juice to people who have reflux and that is like sticking your finger in the wound.

- Start making good food combinations. For example, it is best not to mix fruit with carbohydrates (in this condition have to avoid fruits) and if we are at a very sensitive not to mix carbohydrates with proteins in the same meal.
- We must reduce consumption of fat and the fats are slow to digest and slow stomach emptying and also require a large amount of gastric juices.
- be aware of mastication. Some swallow and swallow instead of chew.
- Avoid onions, garlic, nightshades (potatoes, peppers, eggplant, tomatoes, pepper, paprika and snuff), tropical fruits (pineapples, bananas, papaya, kiwi …) , hot spices such as chile and aggravating the acid, peppermint, alcohol (beer and spirits rise more symptoms than wine) and caffeine (coffee, tea and cola.) packaged foods, fast food, canned soups, the sugar (and any product containing it), sweeteners and cereals refined including all industrial bakery.
- Avoid excessive animal protein and snuff generating an overproduction of stomach acid in reducing the frequency of emptying and preventing the esophageal sphincter works like touches.

- Stress also causes high levels of acid in the stomach as well as wearing tight clothing.
- Regular exercise takes the pressure of the abdomen, improves digestion and lose a few kilos here would be ideal.
- As a natural antacid elm have calming the stomach and reduces inflammation and irritation, the silicium to form a protective layer on the digestive tract, yarrow extract, and soothing properties ulmaria and antacid.

If your naturopath has recommended you white clay that is of good provenance and superfine and dissolve in half a glass of water always taking it without food and do not abuse it.
- No late dinner. It is better to go to bed three hours after supper.
- The deviation of the spine can be caused by acid reflux, and that the injuries of the spine alters the nerves and blood supply to the digestive system.
- Raise the head of the bed about four inches but not putting a pillow under the other as it tends to push back and out of line during sleep and creates a stiff neck. It is best to put a wedge under the two legs of the bed.

Hiatal Hernia

I want to elaborate on this disease so you can see it has many similarities to the ebbs and acidities. There is considerable medical controversy they do not know if the hernia first appears and then the acidity or acid first and then the hernia. Aquí no hay quien se aclare. Here no one is clear. But for that I am, to clarify concepts, myths and all sorts of misinformation.

Hernia means abnormal protrusion of an organ outside the cavity which is normally closed.. MEANS gap opening or crack. So the hiatal hernia is a proportion of the stomach that is inserted into the chest cavity through the diaphragm and is a major cause of fire. Can eventually cause serious damage increasing the risk of esophageal cancer. But there are people who have hiatal hernia has never had symptoms and discover when you do a scan for another reason.
The most common is the sliding hernia is when part of the wall of the stomach and lower esophagus tube invade the chest cavity creating an upward pressure pushing the acid and or food and surpassing the esophageal sphincter appearing burning and acid reflux. Sometimes small hernias often go unnoticed and are more difficult to detect but also expel liters of acid.

Let Us Examine Acid Reflux Causes Symptoms And Remedies:

- Misuse of the spine to tighten the diaphragm and increases the pressure. We have to improve our position, let go with the hunched shoulders, back and hump. Let us bring the shoulders back and down, open up your chest and have an upright posture..

Very important when you walk be aware of our feet to be parallel to the walking and stop walking like ducks with their feet turned out.

Bakery Products, Refined Sugars, Trans Fats, Additives and Foods Empty Of Nutrients.

-  Food fats and hydrogenated oils , refined, junk, low-fiber, nutrient-free diets loaded with fat engineered ingredients, sugar and additives that stimulate the excessive production of gastric juices into the stomach pushing up toward the diaphragm.
- Spices, caffeine, white flour products, refined grains and sugar, foods and packaged products.
- Pregnancy.
- Constipation submitting a lot of pressure on the abdominal muscles. A colon full of ancient excrement creates pressure in abdomen and stomach.
- Alcohol and snuff.
- Sedentary lifestyle.
- Wear tight, shallow breathing (breathing only with the chest), we must learn to take deep breaths, slow and steady (pranayama).
- Overweight and muscle tone. We must strengthen the tone of the diaphragm by abdominal soft to reduce acid reflux, assets doing some gentle exercise such as Yoga or Tai Chi, and walk but never run because it makes the acid reflux disease worse.
-  Difficulty swallowing.
- Acid regurgitation at night.
- Heartburn, acid reflux and esophageal ulceration.
- Back pain, chest, shoulders and upper abdomen.
- Gastrointestinal bleeding.

- Liver saturated.  Bile ‘dirty’ irritates the diaphragm pressure undergoing digestion. We must maintain good liver function to maintain stable pH of the intestine and to act as a natural disinfectant and will generate a healthy intestinal flora..Another time I commented that milk thistle (Silybum marianum)
- Regenerating liver cells to produce new and also has antioxidant properties.
- Excess fluid in the food. It is important not to drink water at meals and that loading a stomach full of liquid generate excessive regurgitation.
- Stress. Excessive worry and  “all day tension” tense abdominals, slows digestion, constipated and most important here is that acid backs up into the esophagus.I Cured My Acid Relfux

Heartburn, Stomach Acid Reflux and Esophageal Catarrh

What is Stomach Acid Reflux and Heartburn?

Gastro-oesophageal reflux is the term for when the acidic stomach contents slides up into the esophagus. Most people feel at one time or another stomach acid reflux in the form of acid reflux or heartburn. Recurring stomach acid reflux disease is a frequent disorder.

What is the pharyngeal-catarrh?

Pharyngeal-catarrh, the mucous inflammation that sometimes occurs at the bottom of the esophagus caused by repeated cases of stomach acid reflux.

hiatal hernia can in severe cases is complicated with a wound that may rarely bleed or give chronic anemia.

In rare cases hiatal hernia is complicated by the formation of scar tissue, leading to narrowing of the esophagus.

What is hiatus hernia?
A hiatal hernia is a condition in which a portion of the stomach pushes up abnormally through an opening in the diaphragm, a sheet of muscle that separates the chest from the abdomen. Hiatal hernia is also called a hiatus hernia. The lower part of esophagus remains open instead of normally being closed.

Why Stomach Acid Runs Up Into The Esophagus?

Passing through this portion of the esophagus is a hole in the muscle plate, called the diaphragm.  Between the stomach and esophagus is the lower esophageal sphincter so in this manner the system functions as a kind of one-way valve.

If this one-way valve is not functioning properly, stomach acid is able to slide up the esophagus. This tendency is increased if the stomach contains a lot of gastric juice or food, or if there is also something that clamps onto the stomach.

How Do You Feel Stomach Acid Reflux?

* Aching, burning or stinging sensation in the diaphragm, behind the sternum or throat.
* Some acid reflux that reaches the throat and mouth.
* Individuals have instances of shortness of breath and hoarseness due to pronounced backflow of acidic stomach contents that bothers the throat and airways.

What Can You Do To Prevent Acid Reflux?

In many cases there is no known cause for acid reflux disease, but in some cases, one or more of the following factors can contributed.

* By  being overweight you press the fat in the abdominal cavity  and the stomach together. This has increased pressure inside the stomach.  Stomach contents will tend to be pushed up into the esophagus. Weight loss reduces the tendency for stomach acid reflux.
* The risk of stomach acid reflux increases, the more the stomach is filled with food. The risk will be increased with large, especially fatty meals where the food is in the stomach for a longer period of time before it passes on to the intestine.   Chocolate, peppermint, coffee and alcohol, especially inhibits the lower esophageal sphincter function.
* Avoid overeating to reduce the risk of stomach acid reflux.   If you have constipation, there is an increased tendency for stomach acid reflux.
* Smoking cessation may also reduce the risk of stomach acid reflux.
* When you lie down, the tendency for stomach acid reflux is aggravated by gravity. This can be remedied by using an extra pillow or putting a few books under the bed legs at the headboard.
* If the symptoms of stomach acid reflux are rare, for example, less than five days per month, you can use the-counter acid reflux medication from the pharmacy.

How Does A Doctor Diagnose Gastro-esophageal Reflux and Esophageal Catarrh?

Acid reflux symptoms can be so obvious that one can immediately make the diagnosis just by talking to the patient.

Where there is doubt about the diagnosis, or there are frequent or very bothersome symptoms,  a Gastroscopy should be performed.  Gastroscopy is an examination of the inside of the gullet, stomach and duodenum. It is performed by using a thin, flexible fibre-optic instrument that is passed through the mouth and allows the doctor to see whether there is any damage to the lining of the oesophagus (gullet) or stomach, and whether there are any ulcers in the stomach or duodenum.

Occasionally, the cause of indigestion is an ulcer and it is now known that many ulcers are due to bacterial infection in the stomach.

A biopsy (a small piece of the lining of the stomach) may be removed during an endoscopy and examined under the microscope in the laboratory to pinpoint an infection.

One can also detect acidity at the bottom of the esophagus during a 24 hour period with portable equipment.  In this way one can assess the number and duration of episodes of stomach acid reflux.

Finally, one can assess esophageal sphincter by measuring the pressure in the esophagus with a method called Oesophageal Manometry.

The symptoms of stomach acid reflux can be confused with peptic ulcers , heart pain (angina pectoris), muscle pain, back pain, constipation , irritable bowel syndrome , gallstones and pancreatic disease, and more.  Sometimes it is also necessary to investigate these conditions.

How does the doctor treat stomach acid reflux,  heartburn and esophageal catarrh?

The main acid reflux disease treatment is medicine. Using acid-inhibiting drugs will be effectively and safely able to prevent symptoms and complications of acid reflux in most cases.I Cured My Acid Relfux

Acid Reflux Symptoms in Men

Acid reflux disease is also known as gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD o).  Its a chronic health condition where stomach acids which are responsible for the digestion of tge food we consume, are pushed back into the esophagus or trachea.

As a result, the lining of the esophagus can have extensive damage and lead to a burning sensation in the chest region. Although it can affect both men and women, it has been found that a large number of men tend to suffer from acid reflux disease.

Your lifestyle and habits like smoking and alcohol consumption are often more susceptible to this disease. Sometimes, acid reflux symptoms in men lasts just a short period of time and sometimes they can last many hours.

Acid Reflux Symptoms in Men

The symptoms of acid reflux disease vary in each case.  Here are some of the most commonly observed symptoms of acid reflux in men

Heartburn: This is one of the most common symptoms of acid reflux in men..  Can be described as a sharp, burning sensation felt in the zone between the base of the throat to the end of the sternum. This symptom gets worse after eating, sleeping or lying down.  If heartburn is severe, then the result is sharp pain in the chest.

Difficulty swallowing: Many people complain that they have difficulty swallowing due to acid reflux into the esophagus. While swallowing food, some may experience a sore throat and chest pain.

Others have the feeling that food is stuck in the chest region. This is a serious symptom and should not be ignored and a doctor should be consulted for proper treatment.

Dyspepsia: This condition is usually reported by patients as an unpleasant sensation in the stomach. It gives a feeling of fullness in the stomach and frequent belching, therefore, patients lose interest in food. Sometimes, they may even feel nauseous after eating anything. If this symptom occurs quite often, then you should check with the doctor.

Abdominal pain: This symptom of acid reflux tends to repeat over and over again. Its severity can vary from time to time. Sometimes abdominal pain can be mild and improve itself. At other times, might give a feeling of a bad pulled muscle in his stomach.

Other symptoms: sore throat and cough are two other common symptoms that are noticeable especially in the early stages of acid reflux disease. A bile reflux occurs after the patient begins to vomit bile. This leaves a taste in the mouth pain may get extended to the throat as well.

Ways to treat acid reflux in Men

Acid reflux disease often requires treatment over a long period of time.  For this reason people prefer natural home treatment than medical treatment for this problem – Acid reflux diet!

Here Are Some Effective Ways to Control Acid Reflux Symptoms:

Aloe Vera: the natural medicinal properties of aloe vera has a soothing effect on inflamed esophagus. Take two teaspoons of aloe vera juice in the morning after having finished breakfast. Must be taken every day and only after eating something. This will reduce the frequency of acid reflux symptoms greatly.

Licorice root: It is available as tablets to be chewed before eating meals. You can control the production of stomach acid due to the presence of a substance called mucin in it. Therefore, the chances of acid reflux decreases.

Herbal Tea: Prepare a herbal tea with the help of mint and anise and lavender herbs. Take equal amounts of the three herbs and soak in two cups of water for about ten minutes.  Strain the herbs and add a little honey in tea. You have to take this tea twice daily, morning and after dinner. This tea helps reduce stomach acid.

Apple Cider Vinegar: While the apple cider vinegar is acidic, it does wonders for the symptoms of acid reflux. Take half a glass of water and add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.  Take this mixture in small sips when you are eating a heavy meal.

In general, acid reflux symptoms in men does not cause serious health complications. However, do not ignore them and delay treatment because it can cause scarring in the esophagus. Do not start self treatment with over the counter medications without consulting your doctor. When you are on acid reflux treatment should follow a healthy lifestyle in order to obtain better results.I Cured My Acid Relfux

The Symptoms Of Acid Reflux Be Effectively Controlled With Diet!

Symptoms Of Acid Reflux

Did you know that if you are taking antacids regularly to control symptoms of acid reflux may actually is making your condition worse?

The mistake many people make is to assume that Symptoms Of Acid Reflux is a sign that your digestive system is very acidic. This is not true. Your body needs stomach acid to digest food, the problem is not too acidic, its that the acid escaped and reach places that it should not reach.

If you continue to neutralize the acid that your body will start producing more acid which in turn will produce more symptoms of acid reflux

Think for a moment, what the process that the food must pass so that your body can extract nutrients and dispose of waste.

Cut small pieces of food and then chew the food well so that it becomes a paste before swallowing. The preparation of food for digestion in the mouth is for two things: It compresses the food and the food is mixed with saliva for the enzymes can begin to decompose.

After swallowing the food it must pass easily through the esophagus to the stomach. Once in the stomach the food comes into contact with a very strong acid that can break it down more quickly.

In the stomach food is also mixed with fiber which creates bulk to your bowel to move food effectively, helping nutrients and waste pass quickly from your system.

Unfortunately, if we’re honest, we don’t support this process very effectively.

The Following Common Mistakes Produces Symptoms Of Acid Reflux

Eat fast and swallow large pieces of food!

Eating until you feel more full which means that the stomach can not do its job effectively

Putting a strain on your digestive system by eating large quantities of highly processed foods that contain high levels of fats and sugars that are difficult to process… And eating a diet low in fiber!

Nobody a car to run efficiently without the proper fuel and a little care. Would you buy a car if he knew the previous owner was a young boy racer who had thrashed the car every day, where he had accelerated hard regularly right from the start, never checked the oil and coolant or left the car without a service for years?

If you want to have a digestive system that works as well as a car with good service then you need to make some simple changes in your diet and start eating in a friendly way to avoid the Symptoms Of Acid Reflux and heartburn.

Controlling Symptoms Of Acid Reflux With DietAcid Reflux Diet

Be sure to chew your food so that your stomach has an advantage when it starts to digest it.  Eat small meals so there is space in the stomach for the meal for it to be mixed with acid. Over fill the stomach and the acid is forced out of the esophagus

Reduce consumption of processed junk food and Increase the amount of fruits and vegetables in your diet to increase fiber…And be sure to Drink plenty of water

Avoid foods that cause acid reflux or heartburn, so you can reduce or avoid them

If you make these changes you’ll be able of reduce the amount of antacids you take to control the Symptoms Of Acid Reflux and eventually dispense with them altogether – Now that sounds like a great plan to me!I Cured My Acid Relfux

Unusual Symptoms Of Acid Reflux!

Symptoms Of Acid Reflux

There are various Symptoms Of Acid Reflux that are common to many people while there are also other acid reflux symptoms that appear to be connected with acid reflux at all. These symptoms may seem out of the ordinary or something that can be taken for granted..

Acid reflux is a condition where food from the stomach goes back up the esophagus causing heartburn…T

Learning about common and uncommon symptoms connected with this condition will pay off sooner or later when heartburn occurs.

Common Symptoms Of Acid Reflux

The primary Symptoms Of Acid Reflux is heartburn. This means that the heartburn itself can complicate and lead to more symptoms.

Other acid reflux symptoms that radiate from heartburn are upper abdominal pain, jaw pain, neck pain and burning sensation that one gets the typical going back up the esophagus from the stomach acids.

These symptoms of acid reflux can actually be very uncomfortable and even painful to an extent that one is set back by several hours.

natural remedies for acid reflux

Other Symptoms of Acid Reflux

The most unusual symptoms of acid reflux you might get are regurgitation and nausea. Regurgitation occurs when the stomach contents and acid make their way back up the esophagus, reach the throat and enter the mouth.

This does not usually happen so many people are surprised at this to be among the symptoms of acid reflux.. Nausea is another symptom of the rare acid reflux that does not usually occur. There is really no specific reason why nausea is one of the symptoms that can occur with acid reflux.

Ulcers and other injuries to the esophageal tissues may also count as rare symptoms of this condition. . These are the after effects of frequent bouts of acid reflux and heartburn. Because stomach acid rise up and reach the lining of the esophagus, the lining gets affected by the frequent exposure. These can become complicated when they are left untreated.

Uncommon Symptoms Of Acid Reflux

These uncommon symptoms of acid reflux can confuse doctors and may not lead immediately to the proper diagnosis of acid reflux.

Some doctors may even think that acid reflux is a symptom of another condition rather than the condition itself. You’ll need a qualified gastroenterologist to be consulted for a better diagnosis of the problem.

These gastroesophageal reflux disease symptoms can even result in complications, thus requiring more drastic measures to treat the condition.. The operations that can increase the strength of the muscles of the esophagus and sphincter are option for those who constantly suffer from unusual symptoms of acid reflux!I Cured My Acid Relfux

Acid Reflux Symptoms

What Is Acid Reflux Symptoms

Acid reflux is a disease that causes the stomach acid flowing back into the esophagus causing discomfort. The disease is also termed as Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) disease, Gastroesophageal reflux (GERD) or acid reflux disease.

Acid reflux is commonly caused by many instances.. Some of these cases include pregnancy, large meals and eating habits, Hiatal hernia, peptic ulcer and digestive enzyme deficiency, asthma, smoking and drinking.

There Are Several Common Symptoms Of Acid Reflux

First symptom is the strength of gastric asthma through the mouth, throat and airways of the lungs.

Second symptom is chest pain and heart burning is the most general of the symptoms of acid reflux.
Third in the line of acid reflux symptoms is facing the difficulties in swallowing, which is medically identified as Dysphagia.

Patients with symptoms of acid reflux report not only have difficulty swallowing, but also causing difficulties in taking their medicines or even daily intake of calories to nourish the body..

Hoarseness is another symptom of acid reflux.. Hoarseness refers to the condition of having a deep, rough voice abnormal.. Generally, the hoarseness is caused by an injury to the vocal cords..

Often regurgitation is also apparent in patients with acid reflux .This is the condition of the appearance of refluxed liquid in the mouth. Some People with acid reflux symptoms may suddenly find their mouths filled with the liquid or food. What’s more, frequent or prolonged regurgitation can lead to acid-induced erosion of the teeth…

Most Acid Reflux Symptoms Are Common To Most Patients…

In some cases the symptoms can be severe, causing vomiting – But nausea is an infrequent symptom.

The above acid reflux symptoms are those which are only experienced just by patients making it almost invisible to the outside world. However, the symptoms of dental erosion is apparent by altering the physical appearance of patients. Dental erosion is identified as the loss of substances through a chemical process caused by the disease. . However, even with these symptoms of acid reflux Dental erosion involves no bacterial effects, but cause an irreversible loss of tooth structure.

For years people have suffered with the symptoms of acid reflux, but diagnosis was not introduced until late 1960 and early 1970. Followed by many years of research on three types of treatments that are available “for acid reflux patients, ie, lifestyle modification, medications and surgery. The style and treatments include diet and position adjustments, while some drugs are prescribed.. Some of these are over the counter drugs such as antacids, prokinetics, etc.

In the category of surgery the standard surgical treatment for Nissen fundoplication…. Besides this, other treatment methods include the use of endoscopic devices to provide assistance to those suffering from acid reflux symptoms.I Cured My Acid Relfux
